Our In-Room Dining Servers take great pride in delivering professional dining service to all hotel guests by providing excellent knowledge of our menu offerings and providing the flexibility to accommodate each guests' individual needs.

What You Have

  • Previous experience serving in casual or fine-dining settings. Previous experience in a hotel setting is a plus.
  • The focus to ensure correct order taking and prompt service to multiple guest rooms at a time while allowing guests the freedom to customize orders to their needs.
  • A caring, positive attitude with a genuine interest in ensuring our customers have memorable experiences.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the desire to work in a team environment.
  • A self-driven, entrepreneurial attitude towards achieving your goals.
  • The ability to physically perform the duties required of a Restaurant Server including carrying food trays, delivering drinks, carrying drinking glasses, plate ware and flatware through kitchen areas, occasionally moving tables and chairs.

Ideal candidates for this position must be available to work Saturday and Sunday mornings, with additional availability throughout the week.

Working Conditions

This position operates in a full-service, professional restaurant & kitchen environment. In-Room Dining Servers are required to use standard restaurant equipment such as point-of-sale computers, cash registers, commercial glassware and plate ware cleaning systems, etc. Their work can require them to move through our kitchen areas when receiving food orders and returning dishware. This position requires evening/weekend work. In-Room Dining Servers must be able to stay on their feet for extended periods of time and are expected to walk the guestroom floors of the hotel several times a shift to retrieve room service supplies.

The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
